The Sound Of Music Brooklyn Theatre reviews
Jackson Browne - John Fogarty
Jackson Browne still has it, all the way, and he looks and sounds like he did in 1977. His band and back up singers were spot on terrific, really amazing. Jackson Browne rocked, and he's still got it. As an aside, I think I was actually at the Arts Center show where Jackson Browne performed in 1977, live recording RUNNING ON EMPTY>>>LIVE in HOLMDALE (Holmdel guys...hee hee!). New JOISEY! lol Being a Joisey boy, I can get away with sayin' so! You still got it buddy, Jackson, rock on!
What was up with the sound of his microphone during The Sound Of Music? He sounded distant and high pitched, very strange. Nevertheless, behind the less than stellar vocal amp, he sounded in good voice, and his band rocked! It was just weird that he had a strange microphone that tainted his vocal more than help it. His son was amazing on the guitar. Would love to hear the back story on that one! He still put on a great show that we enjoyed immensely. It was great to see so many fans come out for these MATURE rockers!
